Foundation Mission

The Life is good Kids Foundation supports extraordinary charities that create a lasting positive impact on children facing unfair challenges, including the trauma of violence and poverty.

The Life is good Kids Foundation receives its principal financial support from the public via the charitable community fundraising festivals conducted by Life is good, Inc. This year eighteen festivals will be held in thirteen different states nationwide. 100% of monies received from these festivals is distributed to 501 (C) (3) non-profit organizations supporting children in need.
The Foundation provides grants to preselected beneficiaries; it does not accept unsolicited requests for assistance.

Project Joy

Project Joy, the recipient of major support from the Life is good Kids Foundation, illustrates the kind and quality of nonprofit organization funded.

Project Joy protects and champions play as the single most important activity in the life of a child. Its mission is to ensure that nothing, including poverty, trauma or any other societal injustice, stands in the way of healthy play for young children. By providing extensive training, resources, and ongoing support to early childhood developers who are working with impoverished preschool children, Project Joy is creating a peaceful army of early childcare teachers who have the skills, insight, and artistry to use play with their children in a way that promotes security, creativity, confidence, compassion, and healing.
